This is a 1954 Chris Craft 28 foot Sedan Cruiser, constructed of teak and mahogany. 

It has a 145 HP Chris Craft 6 cylinder "M" gasoline engine, 12 V system, excellent condition, new varnish and caulk 2001, bottom painted 2003, carburetor overhauled 2003, new head holding tank installed 2001, stainless steel gas tank installed 2001, all fittings original in good condition. 

Interior layout includes dinette, couch, small original galley with ice box and sink.  The boat has sleeping accommodations for four.  An unaltered original boat, it has factory correct gauges, steering wheel, hardware, remote Iva-light spotlight, everything it had when it was new and first delivered from the factory. 

The boat was bought new in 1954 and placed on Lake Whitney, Texas in covered boat house, where both have remained the last 54 years.  Boat has been owned in whole or in part by the family of the original owner.

In 2001 we had the boat refurbished and spent approximately $31,000 in that refurbishing.  We don't think the boat is in pristine condition, but we think it is in good to excellent condition.  The boat has approximately 1,400 hours on both boat and motor.  It has been used sparingly and never abused.  The only flaw that we are aware of is a tachometer that is inoperative.
